My name is Leo. I’m a native English speaker who grew up in Dallas, Texas, USA. At the moment, I’m living in Moscow, Russia, as my family is Russian. I speak with a standard American accent.

I’ve been teaching English professionally for the past 6 years and have a wide range of experience. I’ve conducted over 5,000 lessons to learners of all levels — from Beginners to Advanced. I’ve taught adults and teenagers, online and offline, groups and one-on-one. I’ve written hundreds of lessons, written and led 3 teacher workshops and 1 methodology course.

I’ve received my Cambridge CELTA certificate (with merit) and my IELTS Exam Preparation certificate. I use two teaching methods in my lessons: [1] the communicative method, which focuses on real-life communication; and [2] the direct method, which helps break the language barrier (yes, even for Beginners!). My lessons follow industry standards and are adapted to your goals and needs.
